On a dull day, we took Jake to the park. As soon as I was out of the car, I was taking this photo of the distant orange tree along with the carpet of leaves and the lady and her dog. It was a dull day, but I liked what I saw, regardless. The first photo is at normal zoon, and the second at 4X zoom. The entire park is covered in fallen leaves, which was a main point of the shoot for Sue although she did wish for better light.
After we walked around the path off to the right of the above photos, I took another of the same tree using the path in the photo.
Later, I captured the same lady, staring back at me while I took her picture.
There is a stand of very red maples at one end of the park, so Sue took some angled shots, possibly for an upcoming leaf prompt although I suspect that we shall be returning on a sunnier day. I like today's duller photos well enough, however.
Such beautiful photos! You have a great eye.
ReplyDeleteI don’t mind the overcast look either sometimes. The light is softer.
Wow, things are looking quite colorful up north these days!
ReplyDeleteI love subdued light for colors. Most of the trees around my place and forest are done except for those trees lucky enough to have escaped last weeks high winds.
ReplyDeleteIt is still a beautiful time of year.
I love enjoying the fall colors vicariously through your blog!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. Stratford was looking good too, but wow here!
ReplyDeleteThese are all great shots...but if one were to be on my wall, it would be without any people or dogs!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, the orange tree is something else!
ReplyDeleteI love the orange and red trees and all the leaves on the ground. (unless it's my back lawn)
ReplyDeleteI really like them all but probably like the 1st one best. There is a sense of mystery to it.
ReplyDeleteIt is so darn beautiful there. Cold, but beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! What great color!
ReplyDeleteHow very beautiful your Fall is! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteSo many tints and shades.
ReplyDeleteOn an overcast day, the leaves are brighter, and sometimes they even look like the sun is shining.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI love leaf carpets, and don't see many where I live as many Australian trees are not deciduous. The red maples are beautiful. We have a similar tree here, Acer, but the leaves are mostly orange when they turn.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many options with photography.
ReplyDeleteWe so very rarely get such autumn colours - spring does its best for us though :D Beautiful photos. I wonder if that lady through you were a PI?
