Two flowers from the Community Garden at the museum from mid-June. The blanket flower is a merge of 5 photos to try to simulate a multiple exposure.
A heron in a sea of green, taken on the day of the solstice. Happily, s/he occupied a little gap within the greenery.
Also on the solstice: a rather nice evening sky from our bedroom. I like the darker cloud that frames the top of the photo.
A mirror selfie from June 19th.

Beautiful flowers. I didn't have any luck when I planted blanket flowers. They're suppose to do well in my zone, but they didn't come back the next year. I was so disappointed. Beautiful sky photo, and fun selfie! I've about given up on doing selfies...I'm just no good at it.

These are all lovely but the framing on that heron photo is fantastic. What wonderful timing you had to find her right in that spot. It's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSue always looks terrific! You aren't too shabby, either!
ReplyDeleteThese are all lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteLove the heron shot.
ReplyDeleteYou even caught the heron's reflection. Sue looks so lovely in her smart outfit!
ReplyDeleteSue is so elegant! I'm much more of a casual dresser and wish I could look like that. I love flowers and take too many photos of them.
