On Saturday we walked a little walk on our nearby trail. This part of the trail is never the best for photography, and there wasn't a lot of colour either, but we found a few spots.
Sunday took us downtown where I tried some different photographic things. As Sue took her upriver photos for her photo group. I leaned over the edge of the bridge, noticed the interesting light pattern, and pressed the shutter.
As she continued to take her photos, I noticed my shadow falling on her.
I liked it even better converted to b&w.
Who knows what walks or photo ops this new week will bring our way.
I like the water photo a lot.
ReplyDeleteOh the light hitting the bottom of the river is so interesting! And the sunny flare on the doorway with Sue is a nice touch...making it look like an ancient photo to go with the age of the tavern.
ReplyDeleteI like the water patterns, and your shadow on Sue. It's serendipity when such opportunities present themselves.
ReplyDeleteI love how you see. The water is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLove ❤️ this series.
ReplyDeleteYou do so well with your walk photos. I think of lots of blog posts I could write but am stymied by the time it will take vs. other things that need doing. Blog posting doesn't take precedence.
ReplyDeleteYou always find a good subject.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos you take on your walks. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe water patterns are cool, you have a great eye!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a creative eye. I often miss the subtleties, things like angles and reflections. Once in a while I take an accidental good picture! The water is amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I need to find some kind of trail like that. I would be out there all the time but I think I would have to travel up in the mountains to find a place as nice as this.
ReplyDeleteSuch good photos! And your weather looks great. We are having a sunny fall so far in E Washington State. No colorful leaves yet.
ReplyDeleteLove that second photo especially!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great moment of your shadow doing the thumbs-up.
ReplyDeleteNice one.
I love the patterns in the water.
ReplyDeleteThat second photo is soooo mysterious.
ReplyDeleteYou have great variety in these photos. Yes, a walk gives you all kinds of opportunity for photos.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your walks and the photos that come from them. It's just the way you see things that makes it interesting.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors.
ReplyDeleteI like the bridge and the water photos.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sweet town. We are there often!
