While the weather permits, we will continue to check in on the crocuses. I know it is repetitive, but the season is so very brief and so very desired.
Yesterday was not acceptable to the poor things, so the little clump that I showed recently was tightly furled.
However, I did discover one yellow crocus, and it was open.

Lovely to see those bits of colour! No-shows up here....yet. Still a lot of white on our landscape.
ReplyDeletePoint and Pray, my go to method of photography!
ReplyDeleteSuch clear good closeups...the newer phones do offer good options.
ReplyDeleteYou're making the most of a short season. Crocuses must be pretty hardy to withstand temperatures that fluctuate so wildly.
ReplyDeleteThey are trying to open up! Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteThat's a handy little stand. We have nothing coming up yet.
ReplyDeleteThey're doing their best to open! Spring really seems to be here. Or at least, trying!
ReplyDeleteThey would have been open this morning here but the clouds have moved in now. They look lovely anyway.
ReplyDeleteGetting down isn't so hard. It is getting back up that is the difficult thing.
ReplyDeleteYou need one of those selfie sticks with a button on the handle that allows you to shutter your phone camera.
I forgot about those.
DeleteOh wow, that first photo is lovely. They look so delicate, almost unreal. Even tho they are tough little cookies.
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing.
DeleteA sight for sore eyes to see these lovely spring flowers. I need to look into your stand for the phone. My body can hardly stand up let along bend down as well as you did, smiling here.
ReplyDeleteIt usually sits on the little table beside my chair.
DeleteI've never had a yellow one, only white with purple and purple. Mine are already gone so now it's tulip time. They are several weeks late and I'm starting to worry a little.
ReplyDeleteThe yellows don't seem to be as numerous or come in such big clumps. Not really 'big clumps' but you know.
DeletePurple is my favorite color so I love those.
ReplyDeleteI need one of those stands. I bet the croci are out today. the clusterflies sure are. Ah well, see that snow go.
ReplyDeleteYou just take as many flower pictures as your heart desires. No complaints here.
ReplyDeleteIt turns out beautifully
ReplyDeleteBeautiful purple and yellow!!!
