It Happened Again . . . And Again

I wasn’t looking to post of this again and had another topic in mind, but it just happened — again!

Too funny: very early this monirng I checked social media and saw that my friend, Nick, had posted two intriguing photos. In Comments, I wrote: “What a treat to see your art first thing in the moring while most of the rest of the world sleeps.”

Do you see how I typed morning? And do you see how I typed it (above) to introduce how I typed it? Well, I guess that you must see since I have now gone back and bolded them.

It’s so weird. What is it about this word? I freely admit that I am a terrible keyboarder, but this word gets me almost every time. It even got me at the beginning of this paragraph, but I corrected it in this instance

I swear that I do not do this intentionally. I also swear that I will never post of this again . . . this week.

Perhaps if I hadn’t been reduced to fewer than five hours of sleep on two consecutive nights,  I would type and write better. Seriously, it’s just a little after 7, and I have been awake since before 5. I’m on my second cuppa and may even get a Tims coffee later.

  1. It's prefectly ok to spell morring however you chooze since of curse we'll figure it out anyway. I'm of the opinion (yes, another one of mine) that neural pathways are just like anything else, once established we just go that way again and again. My early morring mix-up is fortunately underlined before I go to press (publish). So it's important for me to have control of the cursor...to fix things. Your talent may not lie in spelling, but certainly in envisioning your world into photos!

  3. I agree with Linda. I so enjoy your posts, and they seem pretty perfect with the right mindset.

  4. I still love your posts. Though I had years of training in typing and doing dictations for doctors so my typing generally is spot on.
You can spell what your fingers type ... I still understand what you are saying.

Sleep. Hmmm. I'm understanding your issue more and more. I'm getting close to running on empty.

  5. Oh no. I had hoped that this recent surgery would allow you uninterrupted sleep. I'm sorry. Sleeplessness just makes life so much more difficult.

  6. Why not blame it on your keyboard? Sometimes mine will put in a completely different word, which I find really weird.

  7. Try typing in the evening and see what happens? Hang in there. We understand what you mean to type; we're humans, not computers. Linda in Kansas

  8. Haha. Yes. I frequently mistype stuff and sometimes can't be bothered to correct it when it's plain it's a keyboarding issue.
