Guess who got her ear's pierced on the weekend? No, it was not AC, cute as that might be.
It was something Danica wanted for her birthday next week, and her wish came true on the weekend. Mom and Grandma took her into the city on the weekend to accomplish the task.
When they came back to the house, I wanted to take some pictures, but Danica was high and not in a mood to pose primly and properly as is plain from these photos. The one above and the one directly below are my faves, but I am posting a few more as well.

Ear piercing time already? Before you know it she will have a piercing in her belly button and a few in her tongue/lip/nose!!

So disappointed! Another picture of Danica when I was pumped about the idea of you with an earring, or Sue with an eyebrow sparkly....she does take a good photo though. Have I ever mentioned that?

ReplyDeleteI remember when my daughter had her ears pierced, at age 8, I think. She had the first one done, and decided that she didn't want the other one done. My wife talked her into sitting through it one more time. But it was touch and go there for a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteI have left one done, and have had since I did it at age 19 with a safety pin and ice cubes. Then again at age 45, after leaving it grown shut for so many years. Did it on a dare the second time! Probably drunk the first time!!
