Jokingly, I refer to JJ as Mee'un as in Me and my Shadow (Mee'un my Shadow). He seems to track me down wherever I am, except when watching tv or playing on the computer.
He considers me a playmate.
He was downstairs, so I took the opportunity to recline and read. Suddenly, there is another body in my chair.
Someday, he will grow up to ignore me, and I will miss this. At least that's what they tell me.
Time does have a way of slipping by quickly so good to enjoy your buddy time, John.
ReplyDeleteHahaaaa...You KNOW you will!
ReplyDeleteToo Cute!

Nah, he won't ignore you. You're bonded for life.
ReplyDeleteThese are really cute pictures! I liked this post very much.

My sister's well loved grandkid went through a 'Grandma, you're weird' stage. I gave some thought to throttling the brat.
ReplyDeleteYeah, enjoy being a hero.
You don't do much to discourage the boy.
ReplyDeleteA child, no matter what age, will never ignore someone who is genuinely interested in them. The fire chief and his assistant make a statement!
ReplyDeleteYes, Enjoy it while you can. He will some day tell his children and grandchildren what a wonderful grandfather he had.
ReplyDeleteTime moves swiftly for those of us over the great divide...
ReplyDeletePoor you. You really seem to begrudge the interruptions !!!
ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteIt just depends. The grandsons still want to spend time with me and they are young men now...Brandon will be 18 in a couple of months and Jordan is 15.
Blessings,
Mary
