Of course, Thanksgiving is officially on the Monday, but when Sunday dawned with mild, sunny weather (for a change), the family decided to make the best of it and head up to the Mill of Kintail for a woodsy walk.
You are welcome to come along.

The beginning of our stroll near the museum. |
It is always fun to stumble upon the three bears house. It's a good spot for pictures: inside and out.
It was a fine day for tossing leaves and jumping about.
Back where we started.
I had to get a shot upriver of the museum before giving the kids time to play on the new equipment.
Then, it was back home for the feast.
Lucky children, to go for such a wonderful walk in the country with parents and grandparents, and then go home for a feast.

What a great place to be on Thanksgiving - proof that we have so much to be thankful for!
ReplyDeleteWhat good fortune to spend so much time with your grands.
ReplyDeleteWow, your autumn is so beautiful! It's 33 degrees C. here right now. Not a whisper of orange-y leaves anywhere. That seems to happen around Christmastime here. Strange.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, and for sure a wonderful way to spend the day. That last photo of the old building right by the river is amazing. I am so intrigued by old buildings, I think maybe it's borderline on obsession! Thanks for sharing another peek at the beautiful area you live in.
ReplyDeleteThrowing leaves? Brilliant! As are the photos by the way.
