Back to School Portraits

The kids will be heading back to school later this morning. Although I will take pictures, we had a more dedicated photoshoot last week. We went to the park and took our time — at least a little bit — to set up a few shots.

Given the nature of the occasion, it seemed appropriate to use books as props for at least some of the shots.

Then followed the Togetherness theme shots.

And, of course, it was vital to shoot a few solitary portraits.

They were pretty cooperative and fine subjects.

YOu are lucky that, unlike my grands, they do not get tired of getting their photos taken.

School began today here as well. It a lot of fun to see all those eager young faces....

I have definitely run out of comments on your grandchildren and on your chops as a photographer. That doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to watching them grow and get wiser; I just have to take a break to think about new approaches for lauding them and you and Sue.

Both kids appear to be comfortable in front of a camera. These photos are keepers.
