There's something about a "real" camera, eh? Danica is intrigued with using my DSLR, so I thought the best recourse was to get my original Digital Rebel out of storage. It's light, and I am not on tenterhooks while she's carrying it around. Because of its lightness, Sue also has begun to use it rather than her compact or iPad/iPod.
I took these pictures of her when we went on a little photowalk together. They are followed by a select few of the many photos that she took that weekend.
So much easier to take photos now that we have digital technology. Remember how expensive it was when we had to have film developed and printed? Good for your grandughter, I think she will be a fine photographer!
ReplyDeleteshe looks like a natural!
ReplyDeleteYou've opened up a whole new world for her, AC. It must be wonderful to share it with her.
ReplyDeleteYou and Sue keep raising the bar. Not that I'm competitive but I do look like a dragass granny in comparison. I did give the youngest gkids some stickers and flowers on bobbypins this morning, but seriously, that's dragass to infinity.
ReplyDeleteA blog post and now photos as well? Oh yes, a fine photoblogger she would make!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see Danica is wearing the camera strap and not just dragging it in her hand. I think she will learn a lot with you as her photo teacher.
ReplyDeleteLots of shots of the sr. photographer (only in terms of experience, you understand) taking photos of the jr. photographer. Nice that you can both share this interest as well and maybe more "guests" posts will follow. Pretty soon, Danica will need her OWN blog!
