We are two weeks into Danica's two-month summer vacation, and it feels as though we have been running our own summer camp program. I can recall picnicking at the waterpark, picnicking at the mill, sitting on the dock at Riverside, visits to the library, visits and lunches at Amma and Buppa's, and two afternoons in the neighbour's pool in addition to daily morning swimming lessons at the community pool. Too bad that activities will shortly be curtailed for Danica's tonsillectomy — poor child.
Naturally, I took one or two pictures, aside from the videos that I have recently posted. Brace yourself. :)

Water: the only thing needed to make a good day a perfect day. At least in the eyes of children it seems!!
ReplyDeleteYou do it every time, AC. Those pictures are perfect ... well, maybe the tsunami one is a stretch !!
ReplyDeleteYou look like you're having fun. I would be sleeping every night like the proverbial log if I spent 5 days a week with my grandchildren. Bless you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very fun and full summer! Love Di ♥
ReplyDeleteSurgery?? Bless her Heart!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the shots Ac...What wonderful memories you're making with them....
I'm wishing we had a nice pool!

Fun photos of your gorgeous grandkidlets as always. Tonsils.. ugh. I didn't think that was still done all that much, these days. Remind her that ice cream is a must.. frequently and in large quantities... all in her favourite flavours.
ReplyDeleteI was perplexed to find four posts in my Google Reader.. seemingly from you but dealing with various health information like ADD and heart disease. I guess that was your old domain at a .net. Glad to see that you're still up and running after all.
Do they still give you all the ice cream you want after a tonsillectomy? That was always the deal sealer for us--yeah, you need a tiny operation, but you get to eat all the ice cream you want!
ReplyDeleteAww!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!

Great memories and fun times on warm summer days, AC. Thanks for sharing the fun with the grands. Hope the upcoming surgery doesn't slow Danica down too long ...can anything?
ReplyDeleteFacebook has caused me to sometimes overlook my regular blog contacts so I have to come around every so often and see what is going on with one of my favorite Canadian families. You are so fortunate to have all these photos to swoon over when they are (sh) grown. I miss my munchkins so much.
ReplyDeletePleas will you adopt me? You all seem to be having so much fun.
ReplyDeleteUh huh. I've run a few of those myself. Looks as if you are doing a superlative job, by the bliss on the faces of the kids.
ReplyDeleteWe've got ten days to go with the dog boarding gig - at least she can't talk back. :-)
Hang in there! Bask in the glow of adoring little faces. And try to get some sleep?
There are certainly two little children who currently know they are loved very much and who will not only have amazing memories when they are grown but pictures to share about these special times.
