Winter is tough on Canadian roads, like this one very near to the cottage.

Winter can be tough on all of us, but the worst of it seems to be over. While it's almost a certainty that we'll receive more wintry blasts, we are now revelling in spring-like weather. We drove home today in sunshine and mildness, which made the three-hour trip seem short.

I'll try to get to everyone's blog within the next few days.

We're funny animals, aren't we? Just a change in the weather is enough to make everything seem better.

Now I shall make you really jealous - the forecast for London this morning was 17 degrees ! Even here on the coast, it was 11-14 and sunny from morning till night. Yay!

We also had it really warm today 16c/ 60f. It was wonderful to go out without a coat.

I'm sending lots of sunshiney, springy, flowery thoughts your way!
I must admit, we are having a rather nice bit of weather lately. *fringers crossed for it to continue* I might get my plant pots done this week!

AC,

Glad you are back safe and hope you had a wonderful time. The weather is beautiful. Hubby and I got out on the weekend, but I haven't had a chance to post about it yet.

I thoroughly enjoyed the post below about you and Rocky. Pets are such great therapists.

Have a great day getting settled after your getaway.

Blessings,
Mary

You are so right about the roads breaking up. They crews patching them cannot keep up. This morning there was a police warning about one on a major road in the city of Sudbury.

Re roads. We got the grader through yesterday. And today it is turning to jelly. No can win. Good thing I drive a Jeep with 4 low.

Welcome back. Our road looks like that all the time, but that's because the county hasn't even attempted to do anything to it in about 8 years. Some of the potholes are big enough that Volkswagens have gone missing.
