Although they did play outside in the snow a few times during winter, yesterday was the first time this spring where it had been nice enough to play outside. Barely nice enough, but still ...
They turned the radio on, and there was dancing in the streets ... or at least in the neighbours' driveway.
And the forecast is for better.
I long for that energy and even more for that lack of self-conscious activity.
ReplyDeleteDelightful stuff it was too.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder they were dancing! It's time to celebrate spring, maybe!
ReplyDeleteDancing in the driveway to celebrate the arrival of spring!
ReplyDeleteIf I could dance on the lane way, I would. It is still thawing though. If you have bulbs in bloom, forgive me if I cry. Mine are still small shoots of hopes to come.
ReplyDeleteI love your grandkid's, I truly do. Imps, the pair of them.
Lordy I wish I had their energy!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
hughugs
cute spring birds. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can sure see who the choreographer is ... a natural leader.
ReplyDeleteMy, how these two children have grown.
ReplyDeleteI liked it that said "play outside." All too often our grandchildren are wrapped up in TV, X-Box, Netflix, etc. or are in so many activities at school or afterward that they don't have time or the inclination to "play outside." I wonder sometimes why parents think they have to have their children so involved that they don't have time to just be kids. Your grands are precious, John. Be proud! Of course, I know you are!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so great that the kids have fun together.
