Fond memories.

Enjoyed your post about your stroll along the Mississippi. When we went fishing with the boys Monday, some of the trees had a tinge of colour and some sumachs had portions that were bright red. Do you remember the poem that said, "and all the sumachs on the hill had turned from green to red."

Take care and enjoy the wee girl. Before you know it, she will be in high school.

Blessings,
MaryMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08175754179624182953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-15716734603883077672009-09-09T14:34:14.428-04:002009-09-09T14:34:14.428-04:00Looks like you had a fun day with Smudge...love th...Looks like you had a fun day with Smudge...love the photos...:-)Berniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03024565921761129108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-79194599426244536152009-09-09T14:32:38.262-04:002009-09-09T14:32:38.262-04:00She is determined to keep you young in spite of yo...She is determined to keep you young in spite of yourself.

That is a great tree she is trying to climb into to sleep. It looks like one of the old gnarly willows along the beach in Port Credit when I was a youth. I assume gentrification has seen them torn down by now, replaced by some tidy boardwalk I suppose.Tossing Pebbles in the Streamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04354065895900279070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-29664323363035060312009-09-09T12:50:53.222-04:002009-09-09T12:50:53.222-04:00HAhahahaaa...there's just no other response!!!...HAhahahaaa...there's just no other response!!!hughugsDonnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00181520825012037531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-43030098206005516912009-09-09T12:44:44.983-04:002009-09-09T12:44:44.983-04:00I've only just noticed (!) that that child is ...I've only just noticed (!) that that child is for ever outside! How brilliant!! Too many children spend all their time indoors, doing nothing but stare at the tv and computer screen. And this little girl (with the help of her grandparents) will watch a film and then try and do it in real life! She must be a very happy little girl.Marahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04464946195661953578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-25562782050545007462009-09-09T11:35:07.508-04:002009-09-09T11:35:07.508-04:00Well at least you both got some exercise while she...Well at least you both got some exercise while she was exercising her imagination! I would suspect that she was somewhat disappointed that her little feet wouldn't just grab onto that tree and take her right up into the branches. Gotta admire her for trying!Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14826899900356202742noreply@blogger.com
