You're proving that these moments truly do exist, and sharing a part of their wonder. Almost makes me want to go and sharpen up my skates, although we barely have any snow yet, let alone ice, in St. Paul, MN. And last winter, the rinks weren't open very long because, believe it or not, it wasn't cold enough. I rarely get to see it as I am not even a skier.

But, we plan to definitely take Mr. P up this year for his first exposure to snow. On average we might get a light snow about once every three years.

With that in mind, we had 21" in our front yard in '73 - it was a snow of a lifetime for us and the whole area came to a halt for about 3 days. We are very poorly equipped to deal with anything even close to that. It was kinda nice to be snowed in then, but I'm sure that would get old in a hurry. ecmreddiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06866616193923580617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-1132886280158962762005-11-24T21:38:00.000-05:002005-11-24T21:38:00.000-05:00Thanks for the greeting.
