I have my husband convinced that I can't be confind to follow a recipe due to my culinary creativity, but really it's because I'm a little absentminded.Lorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06322778291206842093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-1130252403671479362005-10-25T11:00:00.000-04:002005-10-25T11:00:00.000-04:00Right there with you, AC. Fortunately, there is a grocery store within walking distance, so I at least can get some exercise while I'm returning to the store.

And my worst memory of carelessness in school was when I got 99 out of 100 on a spelling test because I FORGOT TO CROSS THE "T" IN MY NAME!Heather Pletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01975795000759157299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-1130251573584899092005-10-25T10:46:00.000-04:002005-10-25T10:46:00.000-04:00I have absolutely missed the meticulousness gene -...I have absolutely missed the meticulousness gene - thus my Martha Stewart envy...Lonerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09174528539177489353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-1130185515959657572005-10-24T16:25:00.000-04:002005-10-24T16:25:00.000-04:00If your gene theory is accurate, and we inherit th...If your gene theory is accurate, and we inherit the genes for good cooking or 'forgetting', why is my twin so great as a cook, and I'm not? It never failed, and they always had a good laugh about it (or sometimes got mad depending on what it was!), that I would forget one important ingredient needed to make the item that day! We made the best out of most of our meals, though, and it actually taught them a lot about adapting and adjusting. Surely, if you think about it, somewhere or another you've pulled out some lesson or something....like don't forget the mozzarella next time!

I've never heard of sweet potato soup. Is it hard to make? I absolutely LOVE sweet potatoes!Christihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05369978641581682398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998770.post-1130109325793767222005-10-23T19:15:00.000-04:002005-10-23T19:15:00.000-04:00I bet the manicotti and potato soup tasted great!F...I bet the manicotti and potato soup tasted great!
From one who is missing the cooking gene :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
