After a terrific walk on Sunday that I posted about yesterday, Monday's perambulation was of the more miserable sort. Although the thermostat read warmer, the biting wind sure made it feel colder. Fair to say that the sun was weak.
Indeed, the day was dull.

As a bonus, I present another icicle photo from the much nicer previous day.
I hear you on the weather. We've less snow here but just as cold. I'm so over it!
ReplyDelete'Tis a little dreary of late.
ReplyDeleteKudos to you all for braving the cold wind for a walk, and capturing a few shots of the grey details. Keep warm.
ReplyDeleteI like those first 2 photos very much. They catch the mood of the weather nicely.
ReplyDeleteWe have a blue sky day today. But it's cold out there.
ReplyDeleteYet, you take such great shots while out walking that are always fresh and interesting!
ReplyDeleteIt is so dreary without the sun!
ReplyDeleteWe have had some cold dreary days here in OKC but have avoided the ice and snow so far. This weekend we are predicted to get hit with a heavy snow so I may get some snow photos of my own.

Those are great icicles! We've had a stretch of blue sky days which have been wonderful and uplifting. Considering all the other stuff going on, I need all the sunshine possible.
ReplyDeleteSome really gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteYou were brave to head out on such a windy day. It feels like it has been a windy winter.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning photos, dear friend!
ReplyDeleteWe too were rather sun deficient yesterday as well. We had about 2 inches of very fine, blowing snow. And the deep freeze has started here. 1 degree (F) here and expected to get worse through the weekend. Hopefully there will be a decline in wind but I do not know if that will happen or not.
ReplyDeletePhotos, as always, are beautiful whether the sky is very or blue. You inspire me to get out my camera if only I could capture some more time to do so.
PipeTobacco
Rather noir, like the cover of a Scandinavian crime novel--except for the beautiful icicles.
ReplyDeleteGet yourself down here quick - we’ve a week of 30°+s coming up….high 90s and more for those elsewhere. Walking won’t be on my list of things to do 😎
ReplyDeleteIt’s about a 50 degree difference between us.
DeleteIt is cold here too. We get a little break but it will hit again this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWeak sun is GOOD Caption for most of these photos. It looks cold.
ReplyDeleteIcicles are fascinating. I have strong memories of introducing them to my kids who thought they were like popsicles, ha.
ReplyDeleteThe serenity of winter
ReplyDeleteYour weather looks like ours. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos. Bundle up!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. It's overcast like that here today.
ReplyDeleteIt's so much nicer when the sun is out!
