At the Tulip Festival

On the weekend, we met some old friends and did a quick run to the tulip festival where, you guessed it, we saw a lot of tulips.

Sue and Marcia amidst blossoms.

Sue shopping and posing by a tulip sculpture.

Two versions of a jazz band, playing in a dark tent.

Finally: tulips.

So gorgeous, AC! My dad is from the Netherlands, and I have been able to go to Keukenhof Gardens in the spring to see the tulips. The surprise to me was how good it smelled, in addition to the beauty.

The festival started with a gift of tulips from the Netherlands in response to Canada's help in the war.

Great photos and that photo of Sue by the tulip statue is fantastic. And I guess the people who organise the tulip festival in my old home town would be severely jealous of that statue as well. It is quite beautiful.

Both the ladies and the flowers were colorfully attractive, John.
