Mee'un

Jokingly, I refer to JJ as Mee'un as in Me and my Shadow (Mee'un my Shadow). He seems to track me down wherever I am, except when watching tv or playing on the computer.

He considers me a playmate.

He was downstairs, so I took the opportunity to recline and read. Suddenly, there is another body in my chair.

Someday, he will grow up to ignore me, and I will miss this. At least that's what they tell me.

My sister's well loved grandkid went through a 'Grandma, you're weird' stage. I gave some thought to throttling the brat.
Yeah, enjoy being a hero.

You don't do much to discourage the boy.

A child, no matter what age, will never ignore someone who is genuinely interested in them. The fire chief and his assistant make a statement!

Yes, Enjoy it while you can. He will some day tell his children and grandchildren what a wonderful grandfather he had.

John,

It just depends. The grandsons still want to spend time with me and they are young men now...Brandon will be 18 in a couple of months and Jordan is 15.

Blessings,
Mary
