Moments

In a dull week of a dull winter, there were some moments to cherish. The first (above) happened after school as we were watching American Idol. Suddenly, the girl was snuggling up to her Buppa. Below, we find something funny before school one morning. If we can pin her down long enough, we will get her to read or to be read to. It's often a bit of both.

In the video below, we share many giggles over our attempts to play pattacake. Clearly, this is not my forte, but what fun we had.

Just catching up with you.

Tomorrow I shall pop out of my hibernation hole and whether or not I see my shadow, I intend to hibernated for at least six more weeks.

The nice thing about watching the grand kids is that I can hibernate and still have a bunch of fun loving small people surrounding me.

The best thing in the world: a little (well, not so little anymore) girl's laughter. So infectious!

So much fun to enjoy life with a granddaughter. I have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.... and I'm looking forward to moments with her just like yours!

You and Cuppa are so lucky, AC. Love like that with your grand kids is so special. I have a lovely 10 year old grandaughter who has Asperger's disease. She is brilliant but has few social skills and does not like to get close to anyone physically. I know she loves me but I would give the world to have her cuddle up like your two do.

John, Ginnie and the previous commenters have said it so well that these times are precious and timeless too. Clearly, you and Danica enjoy the fun times shared whether cuddling or reading or playing.

Your time with your sweet grandchildren is the very model to which every grandparent aspires!

Wonderful moments :-) I do look forward to having grandchildren one day. Seeing the video reminded me of one I saw on youtube recently, of cats playing pattacake... if you haven't seen it, here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CULU09VCu14
