JJ the Spiderman

As I mentioned about a week ago, we have signed JJ up for Wednesday morning storytime at the library. Last week, he wore he skeleton jammies, but this week was Halloween dress-up day. Does JJ ever have a spiffy costume! It's a pretty doggone authentic looking spiderman costume, complete with rippling muscles. When I photographed him, just before tkaing him to the lbrary, he had no trouble assuming one pose after the other — without prompting. Really, it was like he was professional model.

Trophies from storytime: a crafted spider and a rice krispy goblin.

Maybe not so much a pro model as an amazing imagination!! I could just imagine his thoughts as he posed for you! Gosh I wish I had just a bit of that imagination for myself!!!
He looks adorable!

Absolutely LOVE the contrast between the two Spidermen; the macho, intimidating one and the one with his tongue sticking out holding his spider made from a cup! Couldn't be more perfect!

If you were soulless, you could make big modelling $$ with those kids.

What a boy you have there, he is always exploring or climbing and keeps himself busy. I find it amazing how your grandchildren are growing so fast, it seems they were just babies when I first began blogging. Wonderful how you and Sue are enjoying these years with them and I just know they are so blessed to have you both constantly in their lives.....hugs

Great costume! Very spiderful! Halloween didn't exist in it's present form when I was growing up in England, so I was a deprived child.... never knew the delights of going door to door incognito and bringing home a bag of yummy loot! So now I have to live it through my grandchildren. I wonder what they are going to dress up as this year? Stand by for photos!!

Our grandson, Bobby, would be quite envious if he saw this post as Spiderman is a special favorite right now.
