That was Quick!

Due to the modern miracle of text messaging, here's the news that was sent to me in the wee hours. Due to the old necessity of acquiring sleep, I did not receive it at the time. The first I heard was at 6:30 when Cuppa and Papa returned. Not a bad turnaround in four short hours.

In a record time, CB showed up!!!

Born at 341 am, after 1hr10 of labour!!!

Approx 9lbs no official weight in yet

Mommy and baby are fine, baby is strong and healthy!

Congratulations to you all!

My second was also about an hour from waters breaking to delivery... he's now 20 and has spent most of his life so far being in a hurry!

What a gift! Glad you held on to your sleep, though.

(Those Universal baby hats kill me!)

Second babies can and often do make their appearances a bit more speedily.
I love the startle reflex captured in the photo--his little hands open to grasp whatever.
Congrats!

Congratulations on a healthy new arrival. He is beautiful and very considerate of his mother already by making such a speedy entrance to the world.
