Peeved

This drives me nuts. I went to bed around 11:00 PM. Although that's earlier than usual, I didn't even feel perky enough to read. My eyes felt sore, and I just wanted to close them and sleep. Check the time of this post and you'll know how well that plan worked. I've snacked, played Sudoku, checked blogs, and even reviewed a few old linedances — I want to get back to linedancing soon after a six month absence — and here I am three hours later complaining to you. Thanks for listening.

Nights like that are awful. I always fancied trying line dancing but never plucked up the courage and now I suspect my hip would not stand up to it!

I heard years ago that the older we get the less sleep we need. I doubt the accuracy of that statement but I heard it in a graduate psychology class. Hope you are able to sleep tonight.

I hate it when I can't sleep, not only does it make for a long night but it messes up the next day. Since I can't get up on my own and I hate to disturb my husband in the middle of the night, I try to concentrate on ideas for my art... and I listen to the living room clock chiming the hour... after hour. Oy!

I feel bad for you. This is one problem I have avoided so far. I can fall asleep anywhere. I often fall asleep in a chair several times a day. In the summer, i can fall asleep floating on my back in the river.

I recommend a big dog to sleep with! The foot wide piece of bed they leave you doesn't allow you to toss and turn. LOL

I've had my share of these kind of nights. It can be a lonely time when the rest of the world is sleeping.

See what you get for not visiting me more often. I know I could put you to sleep!
