Silly Cat

... or is he?

It's been over two weeks since we brought a little gift bag home. What! You don't see it? If you look under the cat, you'll see the edges.

It's not a big bag, and Rocky is not a small cat. Although he's not as big as the corrected distortion indicates, he's still a pretty hefty size. It's neither a comfy bag nor an alluring spot — in the corner of the upstairs hall by the linen closet, otherwise know as the cupboard in which the towels are kept — but The Rocks frequently nestles down as if it's the best spot on earth.

He's got a pretty good attitude when you think about it. He treasures what he has where he is and pines not for those things which he has not.

Mine would have been in the bag. Sometimes two of them would have.

I love cats.

Yes, he's got the right philosophy. I need to study under this Great Guroo.

Ours like boxes better than bags. Any boxes, preferably those that make it a tight squeeze for a cat to get in.

Yes, cats are very contented.. or so they seem. But who knows what goes through their minds when they're dozing in what seems (to us) a strange place?

I could definitely learn some lessons from the Rock!

Just this morning I had an experience that has led me to make a list of why the cats should not be allowed in the office.

Bob is a bit of a bull-in-a-china-shop when he gets excited, yet he's the most delicate cat who can "tip toe" around clutter on a desk.

This morning, however he bulldozed up on to the desk knocking my thermal coffee mug over onto the keyboard. Hot chocolate everywhere.

Today, no more cats in the office.

LOL made me laugh...reminds me of my cats. Nemo loves bags, the plastic ones from the grocery store. sometimes the handles get around his neck and he walks around with a bag attached to his head! LOL

I'll snap a picture next time i see it!

If I hadn't seen this with my own eyes, I might not have believed it. What a cat you have!

Will we be seeing you this weekend for Thanksgiving?

It makes me curious about the bag, what the appeal is. Is it perhaps warmer? cooler? than the surrounding carpet? Cats are amazing. Tough to read and yet you wish you could read their minds sometimes.
