Blogging with Word

I don't use MS Word to create my posts, but you might use it to compose and edit your entries. According to BloggerBuzz, there now exists a plugin for Word that allows you to do everything from within the program, including publishing. Because I don't use Word, I haven't personally checked out this plugin; I'm just passing the news on.

I'm not sure what that would do. But then I'm not up on that stuff!

Thanks for the tip. I like using Word, but the cutting and pasting is a hassle.

Oh really? Hmm... well I think I'll just keep MSWord and Blogger separate. Otherwise I might ened up publishing some story I wrote accidentally.... That would be bad. (I also wrote some stories which are not meant to be read by anyone else but myself, you see. ;))

I use Works, but often compose in it because I can add all the links and then just transfer the whole document to "compose" feature in blogger. Now that I've become more adept at "saving" before hitting "publish" I lose fewer entries.

Iona has a good point.

I was very excited about this and downloaded it immediately. Since I'm dyslexic my posts really benefit from going through a proper spell and grammer check before I post them. However, I've gotten so use to my cut and paste technique that I haven't tried out this new option yet.

Hmmm…I’m not sure how I feel about that. Google has been under fire recently for changing and altering their privacy statements, and they keep coming out with new apps that need to be installed on your desktop. Call me crazy…but I think they’re up to something fishy ;-)
